Actually both have the same meaning which is giving our homework to the respective teacher for the teacher to mark/check.
BUT
Pass up has another meaning. Want to know what's that? If your answer is 'no', i still will say it =P.
The other meaning is, FART a.k.a. the action of expelling bromine gas.xD
Funny examples:
_______________________________________________________________________
1. A: Have you "passed up" everything to the teacher?
B: Yup, just now i "passed up".
(Good, so honest)
2. A: Everyone, please "pass up" now or else you all will get scolded.Everyone: OK!
(OMG, faster run for your life!!!)
3. A: Can i "pass up" tomorrow?
(Wah, geng. Can set the time)
4. A: Who didn't "pass up" yesterday? Stand up now!(Waseh, didn't pass up only mah)
5. A: Can you "pass up" tomorrow?B: I think i can. I will try my best to "pass up" tomorrow.
